Moving Identities is an international residency program in which 7 different art venues exchange residencies over a three-year period with the idea of creating a more sustainable, diverse and inclusive platform for European performance and transdisciplinary artists.
The participating venues are Udviklingsplatformen (Copenhagen), Kunstplaats Vonk (Hasselt), Hellerau (Dresden), Nau Ivanow (Barcelona), Vaba Lava (Narva), Soltumatu Tantsu Lava (Tallinn) and Davvi (Hammerfest).
As part of the Moving Identities program, Kunstplaats Vonk offers each year an opportunity for Belgium based artists to develop an artistic project idea through three fully funded residencies, one local and two international. These residencies offer mentorship in topics of diversity, sustainable touring and developing an international career.
Moving Identities is co-funded by Creative Europe and mentored by The Danish Centre for Arts & Interculture, Himherandit productions, ITI, Sustainable Performing Arts NOW and Danish Culture Institute.
